Community Basketball Night Returns To Clinton High

[by Terry Ingano]

Community Basketball Night is back!

Games will be played on Thursday, March 16, beginning at 6:00pm in the Clinton High School gym. Four sets of teams are primed to take to the court in what just might be the event of the year.

Here’s our illustrious lineup:

  • 6:00pm* – Two all-star teams from the Clinton Youth Basketball League will square off to see who gets bragging rights.
  • 6:45pm* – Members of the PTA and Booster Club will team up to challenge the hoopsters of Clinton Town Hall and Town Government.
  • 7:30pm* – The sparks are sure to fly as the Clinton Firefighters take on the Clinton Police Department.
  • 8:15pm* – And lastly, to cap off the night, the faculties of Clinton Middle School and Clinton High School, after a two-year hiatus, will resume their annual grudge match.

This not-to-be-missed event is sponsored by R.E.A.L. Youth Connections in support of the middle school REAL Mentors Program. Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for students. There will be refreshments for sale and a 50-50 raffle—the winner need not be in attendance.

This is family and community fun at its best with all proceeds benefiting R.E.A.L. Youth Connections and the REAL Mentors Program. Spread the word and we’ll see you there.
